







DSTV MEDIA SALES manage all media across the entire 400+ channel DStv Satellite network. In 2014, they required a promotional campaign for media buying agencies over the National Heritage Day period (also known as National Braai (Barbecue) Day. “Food Porn”, the exercise of deliberately setting up photo’s of food to look highly appetizing, was the stage set for this competition. Contestants were encouraged through a series of typographically playful mailers and posters to enter and illustrate their unique South African cooking skills with photos of their own heritage day meal creations.
